Reading Excellence for Children, Youth and Adults

FAQ
How much do you charge?
For many callers, this is the first question asked. Our program is quite competitively priced, compared to other tutoring programs or services. An estimate of the cost is provided at our evaluation.

How can we pay for it?
Payment in advance for the first month is expected at enrollment. After this, other arrangements can be made. Payments can be made by cash, check or credit card. There is no contract required.

When will we see results?
Most students will show noticeable improvement in their reading ability within the first month to six weeks of our reading course. Parents frequently comment that their child becomes more interested in reading right away, and often their improved grades reflect this. N is in 3rd grade, and virtually a non-reader, as he was reading at kindergarten level. Soon after beginning our course, N asked to try reading books at home, an interest before he had never shown before. In his first two months of our course, N has already read 34 beginner books during our class sessions.
The Advance in Reading Center offers instruction for any one who desires to increase their reading skills. We use a proven method that works no matter the reading problem, including:
  • Learning disorders
  • Dyslexia
  • English as a Second Language
  • Typically students gain 2 to 5 years in just 30 to 60 hours.
Jacob We do not sell DVDs, computer software or cassette tapes. Our students achieve success by working with a qualified, patient teacher in a private setting.

All teaching is in one-on-one sessions, and students work at their own pace. Parental presence is welcomed and encouraged.
